Broadband plans provided for Bartercard customers are designed for "business" use. Plans are are available in two flavours, eg. PAYG + excess or Flat Rate.
PAYG plans
The monthly access fee is prepaid in Bartercard trade dollars for either 1, 2 or 3 year. When included data is exceeded, excess is calculated at 15c per Mbyte and is billed monthly in arrears, with no Bartercard trade component.
Flat rate plans
Flat Rate plans are billed quarterly in advance and include a 50% Bartercard trade component on a Continual Supply Agreement, approved by Bartercard. All rates are inclusive of GST and a valid ABN number is required for application. Usual credit assessment applies to all applications as a Commercial customer.
Hosting Where requested, we can provide backup MX and DNS hosting in the above packages at no extra charge.
Activation The charge to activate broadband is $299 with hardware, or $149 without hardware, eg. BYO modem. Activation charges DO NOT have a Bartercard component. Where hardware is provided a single port ethernet/USB modem is included as well as 1 in line filter. Additional filters cost $16.50 per outlet or $22.50 for a splitter. Delivery is included in the price as well as professional remote installation of DSL hardware by technical support staff over a phone call.
Relocation If relocating, the following charges apply. $55 exit if transferring the active address within 6 months of its initial or last activation, whichever is more recent. Additionally, activation of ADSL at new premises is $109. There is no option to recontract to avoid these fees, as these are pass-through charges by our upstream carrier (on which we make no margin).
Cancellation / Termination One month's notice in writing is required to terminate the agreement, with the following charges applying:
The $55 fee is payable in cash. The Bartercard Trade dollar / cash ratio on other fees is per the above tariff. Current as at 25th September 2007. |
