BEST IT Broadband, also known as ADSL, can be installed in most places throughout Australia.

To install it you need an approved ADSL modem (from $99 + delivery).  These can be purchased from us or your local electronics retailer, such as Harvey Norman, Officeworks, Dick Smith Electronics, Tandy Electronics or Harris Technology.

To ensure consistency in support to you, we recommend Netcomm modems.  Extended support arrangements, including advance replacement, are offered where a modem is purchased from us.  When a modem is either not purchased from us or is another brand, support is provided on a best "endeavours basis".

All services include:-

• a static IP address;
• backup dialup;
• unlimited uploads;
• unlimited email addresses; and
• technical support, 7 days per week.

We offer "flat rate" plans that include generous data allowances for medium to heavy users or PAYG plans for light users which start at a lower price and then have excess data at 15c/Mb, capped at $150.

For users who already have ADSL1 with another provider in the Telstra rapid transfer program, we are able to transfer to the service to us (for $49), otherwise a new connection needs to be arranged (for $149).

The Bundled rate requires that a Bundle 50 (or greater) phone plan be purchased for the same line.

All services are on a month-to-month plan, except where the customer opts for an extended arrangement to gain hardware/connection payment discounts.  The value of these discounts is $49 for a 1 year of service or $149 for 2 years of service and is not valid with any other offer or promotion.

All plans are subject to a Fair Use policy, which means that they may be slowed once the network acceptable use level is reached - again, this is a very high level and is equal to that same amount included on the Flat Rate plan of the same speed.

A calendar months notice in writing in advance is required to terminate service, as well as a disconnection charge of $55, irrespective of the length of service.
